About the Experience

Bandra Born is a neighbourhood bar and kitchen built around Chef Gresham Fernandes’ memories of growing up in Bandra. Set in the space that once housed Salt Water Café, the restaurant marks a shift — from a fixed identity to a more fluid, instinct-driven approach to cooking. The menu brings together dishes that have evolved over years — some developed quietly in the background, others shaped through experiments and pop-ups — now coming together in one place.

There is no fixed cuisine. Instead, the food reflects the way the city eats — layered, referential, and open to interpretation. Familiar formats are reworked with clarity and intent, resulting in plates that feel nostalgic, unexpected, and distinctly personal.
